Representative Gray became aware of a policy where released inmates applied at DPS for a security guard license and received a temporary license. She called together those in the public and private industry to change this law. Now no one can get a license unless they go through a thorough national background check.

Sponsored legislation with support of county attorneys to qualify all new derivatives of Spice (synthetic marijuana) and Bath Salts (synthetic cocaine) as a dangerous drug.

Supported SB1070.

Seventeen percent reduction in DUI fatalities. Senator Gray sponsored legislation that requires an ignition interlock that prevents convicted DUI drivers from starting their vehicle when they are impaired.

Sponsored vehicle impound for those who fail to get an ignition interlock for DUI violations and those who do not have a driver's license and insurance. Taking the irresponsible driver's vehicle off the road has resulted in fewer accidents.

Voters supported Prop 100 that says if here illegally and they commit a Class 1-4 felony they are not able to get out on bond. When a Maricopa Court Commissioner let out 3 illegals that had stolen a million dollars Senator Gray sent a letter to AZ Supreme Court to require immediate training so the Commissioners followed the law.
